Trio Update

Well this week has just flown by. It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is Friday. Here is an update of the past week:
Erin and Andrew returned from their sales trip from Chicago and Minneapolis. Tuesday we all sat around the lunch table discussing their traveling adventures. While we think of Chicago as the windy city it sounds like Minneapolis is. Erin and Andrew got stuck outside in a dust storm and I was lucky enough to call at the time and listen to the sound of wind and dust getting stuck in Erin’s phone. Besides the pains of travels they had a very enjoyable time.
Also we have a new job coming up in New York. Ramaa Mosely will be directing a commercial for Lean Cuisine. I have not seen the boards yet but Ramaa is sure to make the spot heartfelt and enjoyable as always.
And that is what is happening at Trio

Lunch and a Movie Anyone?

Today we had a luncheon viewing of Jackie Oudney’s movie French Film. The Trio Team was joined by two wonderful and talented directors in their own rights, Ramaa Mosley and Matt Eastman. French Film was liked by all and we are looking forward to its screening in New York next month.
French Film is a witty off beat comedy about relationship and love. The film is incredibly well written and acted and has won Best Actor and Best Screenplay at the Monte-Carlo Film Festival in 2008. The main character is one that anyone can relate to as we witness his struggle to understand his current relationship and that of his friends. Jackie does a wonderful job directing, her subtle camera angles and movements bring a wonderful sense of connection to the characters. French Film is a movie that everyone can enjoy and learn from; possibly bring a sense of awareness to their own relationships. French Film has been a film festival favorite and is making its way into main stream theaters across England and can be viewed in the US on, On Demand.

To the Great Mid-West We Go!

Erin and Andrew will be traveling to Minneapolis and Chicago next week. They are meeting with some wonderful agencies, and we look forward to wining and dining our way into their hearts. It is always fun to sit down and talk with the agencies in their creative work environment and see just what they are up to. Also Erin and Andrew will be meeting with our talented mid-west rep Cat from Hot Betty. We deal so much over the phone that it is always a pleasure to be able to meet with our reps face to face and discuss upcoming projects.

Lunch Time

Its always fun when one of our directors comes by for lunch. Today we had the pleasure of Chuck Bennett’s company. Since finishing this month Subway job we haven’t seen Chuck and it was nice to sit down and catch up with him. It’s always fun to chat about the industry, get director’s thoughts on the latest technology and today was no difference. We discussed the RED Camera having used it in the Subway job. We talked about how the camera is adapting and improving to directors’ and filming needs. We also got to hear about what he has been doing outside of work, vacationing and local activities. We hope to see more of him very soon with some upcoming work.
