June Gloom

These past few days in LA have been rather gloomy. The gloom excites me though, because it means summer is fast approaching! It’s time for hiking and beach trips galore. Last weekend, I went hiking at Eaton Canyon Park in Pasadena. It’s a nice 1.5-mile hike to a gorgeous waterfall. If you don’t mind getting wet and climbing over a few small boulders, it’s a rather rewarding hike. Make sure and go early though, as it gets quite hot in the afternoon and a great deal of the trail isn’t shaded.
